Once you enroll in a course, you’ll have access for life, provided that your account is in good standing and CPD Portal continues to have a license to that course.

Lifetime Access: Commonly Asked Questions
Below are answers to questions we often receive regarding lifetime access.
Will I continue to have access to the course even after I complete it?
Yes. You will continue to have access to the course after you complete it, provided that your account’s in good standing, and CPD Portal continues to have a license to the course. So, if you wish to review specific content in the course after you finish it, or take it all over again, you can!
I bought the course on sale. Does this affect how long I have access to the course?
No. Your access to a course is not affected by the price you paid for it.
Do free courses offer lifetime access?
Yes. Students also receive lifetime access to free courses, provided their account remains in good standing and CPD Portal continues to have a license to the course. Should the course move from a free course to a paid course, the students that have enrolled during the free phase will still enjoy the course for free with lifetime access.
What if I used an coupon to purchase the course? Does lifetime access still apply?
Yes. Students receive lifetime access to a CPD Portal course regardless of what price they paid, or whether they used a coupon to enrol or not.
What happens if the instructor removes the course from CPD Portal?
Our marketplace model means we do not own the copyright to the content of the courses; the respective instructors own these rights. On rare occasions, instructors may remove their courses from our marketplace, or, CPD Portal may have to remove a course from the platform for policy or legal reasons. If this does happen to a course you’re enrolled in, please contact us and we’ll be ready to help.
Please note: occasionally instructors may decide to unpublish their course and close it to additional enrollments. For example, an instructor might unpublish an older course until they’ve had a chance to update the course content. In situations where an instructor unpublishes their course, however, the course content remains on the platform and is still accessible to students who are enrolled in the course.
Can my courses ever be removed from CPD Portal?
On rare occasions, CPD Portal may be required to remove a course from the platform due to policy or legal reasons. If this does happen to a course you’re enrolled in, please contact us and we’ll be ready to help.
When you complete a CPD Portal course, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you can share with your friends, relatives, co-workers and potential employers. Certificates of completion help demonstrate your accomplishments, but please note this Certificate is not the CPD accreditation Certificate. CPD Portal is not an accredited institution, but we make use of instructors and training providers who are registered. This means that after completion of a course, CPD Portal will be in contact to send you forms that must be filled in before CPD points can be allocated to you. A new Certificate will be issued with the accreditation numbers and signed by the Instructor to validated the completion of the course.
When all the curriculum items of a course have been completed, a badge will appear on your profile, and you will see a notification indicating the certificate of completion to download. Click on the link to download the certificate. CPD Portal will be in contact directly after this.
Certificates can be saved as a .pdf or .jpg file so that you can easily share your accomplishment. In addition, certificates can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn directly from CPD Portal.
Certificates of completion can be accessed via your CPD Portal Dashboard.

Below are commonly asked questions we receive regarding CPD Portal certificates of completion.
I finished my course but I still can’t access my certificate of completion. How come?
In order to receive your certificate of completion, each lesson item must be marked as complete. This should be automatic process as the platform tracks your progress to see if you have fast-forwarded the video to the end without looking at the content. This can be manually overwritten by clicking the Mark as Complete checkbox, this is a useful feature for skipping chapters that you are not interested in.
I can’t continue to the next lesson? Why?
In order to satisfy the Accreditation bodies that the student has attended the course, CPD Portal has a strict platform that forces the students to pass each quiz (should there be quizzes in your course) before the lesson can continue.
I’ve completed my course and the trophy has appeared, but when I click on it, I can’t see a certificate. Why?
Occasionally the system may need a few moments to generate a certificate of completion, after a course has been completed. Wait a couple of minutes and then try clicking on the trophy again. You may also need to refresh the page, or clear your cache and cookies, in order to see your certificate. Should this not appear, please contact us.
Do all courses offer certificates of completion?
Yes, all our courses offer certification of completion.
My certificate has my account’s username on it, instead of my real name. How can I change it?
Certificates of completion are generated using whatever First name and Last name you entered when you created your CPD Portal account. If you need to change the certificate’s name, please contact CPD Portal, so that we can verify this is you.
This method stops students of training providers from obtaining a certificate and renaming them to hand out to students that didn’t do the course.
We will send you an email to confirm when your updated certificate is ready.
Can I change the formatting of my certificate of completion? Or add an image?
Unfortunately, certificates are created using a template, and there is no way to change the formatting for them at this time. If you would like to submit this as a feature request.
Certificates issued by the Instructor / Training provider will have their own company logo and Accreditation body credentials as required by the accreditation body

Do all courses offer Accreditation?
Yes, all our Courses listed as Accredited courses offer Accreditation. Instructors are required to provide proof of accreditation, CPD Portal will follow up with the accreditation body to validate this.
Can I claim 3 CPD points for only 2 hours of lecturing?
No, the course has to be the equivalent length to the CPD points, this means that 0.1 CPD points are for every hour. Instructors are required to make the course the same length as the CPD points (1 per day).
Some accreditation bodies will allow the course to be accredited for hours instead of days, instructors / training providers will have to reregister the course with the accreditation body and only accredit the course for X hours instead of days, should they wish to only to have a shorten version of the course.
Please take note that this will modify the CPD points allocated to that course, Instructors can’t register a 4 Day course for 2 hours and expect 4 CPD points.
How do I claim my points?
Students can claim the CPD points same way they used to during a classroom course, by accessing the accreditation body site and claiming the points with the certificate number and accreditation number.
